There are a few days left for the July round of collabor88 and one of my favourite purchases was the LISP Persimmon Summerhouse . I modded it slightly, by making the two walls which didn’t have windows on them almost transparent (so it looks like those 2 walls are picture windows), so I could take advantage of having nice views all round. The Reed Cattails are by Kidd creations and I added a weather vane on top of the house taken from an old build by Thistle. In the background you can see the windmill house that I blogged about a while ago.
Inside the summerhouse I wanted the a slightly neglected feel, that it was used as a little bit of a greenhouse and a little bit of a place where people put odd things they weren’t using. One of the items I love most is the gauze curtain which you can’t see so well in these pictures: the bee curtain from INK (see here for a better view). INK only really do these curtains, a couple of buildings and hair for men, but you often see the curtains, they are so lovely.
