Sometimes I am curious how designers choose the names of their outfits. A lot of designers give their dresses names of women and I sometimes wonder why a blue shirt dress is a Helen instead of say, an Eleanor. What makes a Lisa or a Maria dress? I am always happy, then, when I see a dress and the genesis of the name is clear.
