I got kind of bored last night, so I decided to get on my seldom used alt and update her a little. Poor thing hasn’t had new clothes in over a year. I gave her 500L, and sent her skinny butt down to The Dressing Rooms and Collabor88. I think she looks pretty good for not a whole lot of money. I wanted to get her a new skin, but none of the ones that had demos looked very good on her, and I have a strict policy of not buying without trying when it comes to skins.
I was actually pretty impressed with how many skins were offered, between both dressing rooms, but I was a little incredulous that of those skins, I could only find two with demos. I always wonder what the line of thinking is on that. Is it because the skins are offered so cheap that the creators think people will go ahead and buy them? And I’m sure some people will. But if you have a limited amount of money to work with (like I did last night) you don’t want to waste even a small bit of that money on something that may not really work for you. And some people are really bad at editing their shapes to fit skins, or even just may not want to. Or, in my case, are just too lazy to do it, even though their alt possesses alien-like qualities and no ass to speak of. Though I did mod her lips a little, because they were looking a little too unrealistic.
Erin needs to own that dress. I owned the shoes already, which helped, and I almost had enough money to buy another outfit, but I was like 56L short. So I got Shelby some new eyes and lashes instead.
