As if time went on without me
Hello! I bring you a preview of the nifty stuff from the next round of Enchantment, the SLEEPING BEAUTY round. When I think of Sleeping Beauty, I think of how much of a p*ssy I was as a child. I saw the movie in the theaters (in a re-release, damnit), and found the final transformation of the bad fairy into a dragon TOTALLY CHILLING. I had a dream I slept once…
When I was younger, I was not only one of those lucky people who didn’t really require much sleep to function happily, but for whom sleep was also easily accomplished. I didn’t ever fall asleep fast, like some people, but I also didn’t have insomnia issues and once asleep I slept soundly and quietly through most nights. Then came 2001, and with it fibromyalgia and sleep disturbances. At any rate, the end result is sleep and I have not been friends for many years, which is what prompted the title of this post and the first picture below.
